Yakni mereka sombong tidak mau mengikuti ayat-ayat Allah. dan karena rencana (mereka) yang jahat. (Faathir':43) Yaitu mereka membuat makar terhadap orang lain dengan cara menghalang-halangi mereka dari mengikuti jalan Alah. Dengan kata lain, barang siapa yang menggali lubang, dia sendiri yang terjerumus ke dalamnya. فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلاَّ سُنَّةَ آلاٌّوَّلِينَ. (Then, can they expect anything (else) but the Sunnah (way of dealing) of the peoples of old) meaning, the punishment of Allah for disbelieving in His Messengers and going against His command. (Fathir: 43) Yakni mereka sombong tidak mau mengikuti ayat-ayat Allah. {وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ} dan karena rencana (mereka) yang jahat. (Fathir: 43) 42. And they swore by Allah their most binding oath that if a warner came to them, they would be more guided than any of the nations; yet when a warner came to them, it increased in them nothing but flight (from the truth). 43. (They took to flight because of their) arrogance in the land and their plotting of evil. Surah Faatir Verse 43. اسْتِكْبَارًا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ السَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ الْمَكْرُ السَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ الْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ Surat Fatir Ayat 43 ٱسْتِكْبَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَكْرَ ٱلسَّيِّئِ ۚ وَلَا يَحِيقُ ٱلْمَكْرُ ٱلسَّيِّئُ إِلَّا بِأَهْلِهِۦ ۚ فَهَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا سُنَّتَ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ۚ فَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَبْدِيلًا ۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّتِ ٱللَّهِ تَحْوِيلًا 3Z2GJ.
